CLUB A.G.M.
The AGM of The Green, ( all sections ), will
take place on
31st March at 8pm.
It is important that as many members as possible
from all sections
attend as this is YOUR CHANCE to have a say
in the direction
that the club takes for the next 12 months.
As usual, a FREE DRINK should act as an
extra incentive to get you there.
If you have any issues which you would like to
raise prior to the meeting
then your committee representatives will be
pleased to hear from you.
TIRED ?
Following exertions at the gym

were
“stiffer than they’d been for a
long time” !

We’ve seen him bat, we’ve seen him bowl ..
( well sort of ), and now we’re going to see
if he can er… put out the flags,
collect the tea money, toss a coin, fill out a team sheet,
do the scoring, spend lots of time
in the long grass retrieving balls, sweep the changing rooms,
butter bread and tidy up the
showers.
Yes… enter Cyril,
the new 3rd’s Captain for the coming season. Gawd ‘elp ya mate !!!
Feeling Flabby – or
just want to warm up ?
The Club
has negotiated with a local fitness centre, a one hour group session
for Pre Season Fitness training at the Gym.
The cost
is £3.00 per person and there are many places up for grabs.
The
sessions will be on Wednesday nights 7:00 until 8:00.
To book your place or obtain further details ring Steve Metcalfe 07714159868.
(Steve
Freeman is negotiating with St Johns First Aid to be available from 8:00pm
every Wednesday night outside the gym but it
would appear that the cost will be prohibitive).
