Unexpected defeats at Attock and Old Elizabethans, for Barnards Green and Brewood, allowed Water Orton and Stratford-upon-Avon to move into the heart of the Division Two promotion race with wins against Halesowen and Evesham, who are now, mathematically, certain to be relegated to Division Three at the end of the season. Barnards Green remain top on 235 points but there are, only, 11 points between them and fourth placed Stratford, who trail third placed Brewood by three points and second placed Water Orton by four. Barnards Green were dismissed for 157 by Attock who cruised to an eight wicket success, thanks to an unbroken third wicket stand by Sultan Mahmood (67 not out) and Basit Zaman (42 not out).
