Match Report.

Under 10s and Under 11s.

BGCC Colts under 10's recently visited Ombersley for a pairs game and despite a good performance, they were beaten by a more experienced side.  Jack MacIntosh and Andy Banks  did well against some hostile bowling and showed good technique.  Amie Colbourne and Dan Russell did well losing just one wicket and Peter Fahey and Matthew Wall tried hard to put some runs on the board.  Final pair skipper Ewan Wilson and Toby Newport put on 22 losing just one wicket as the Green finished on 214 chasing 271.  MacIntosh and Wilson were the pick of the Greens bowlers with Toby Newport doing well behind the stumps on his first appearance there.

The under 11's had mixed success beating Nomads B by 14 runs but on sunday with several players out involved in cup finals, going down by 16 runs to Rushwick.  Seb Timmermans shone with the bat v Nomads scoring 15 and being out once with solid performances from Joe Fish (9), Daniel Blake(6) and Ryan Scullion(5).  Timmermans and Fish picked up 2 wickets a piece and Blake one.  At Rushwick only Timmermans really got to grips with some good bowling scoring 10 but there were some solid performances all round aided by some tight bowling with Jack Davis picking up 2 wickets and Fish and Timmermans one a piece.  Russell Burford did well behind the stumps in both matches.
